First Year Historians explore the Medieval Era

T.J McCormack was lucky enough to come across these artefacts in his back garden. A Benedictine monk had left his journal, a letter, a cross, a set of rosary beads and a detailed map of his monastery behind. he had to get away from the town quickly as the Black Death had devastated the population.
(In case you were unaware, T.J created all of these items. I was thrilled to see such effort, enthusiasm, creativity and knowledge of the topic. Well done T.J)

Our first year students from 1Z and 1Y have been busy creating projects about the lives of Medieval monks. Their creations reflect their preferred learning style. PDST resources

Another resource has been created. This focuses on the underlying causes of the Moscow 'Show Trials' 1936-38. Incorporated primary and secondary sources allow for a critical evaluation of these events.
